Electrical Manager

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to oversee electrical operations, manage installation teams, and ensure electrical systems are completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on electrical experience, and the ability to manage projects, troubleshoot issues, and support production goals in a modular manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and support electrical teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Manage daily electrical operations, including planning, assigning tasks, and monitoring workflow.
• Review electrical plans, blueprints, and schematics to ensure proper installation and compliance.
• Oversee electrical installations, wiring, troubleshooting, and quality inspections.
• Ensure all electrical work meets NEC standards, company requirements, and safety regulations.
• Train, coach, and mentor electrical employees on proper procedures and safety practices.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve electrical issues and improve efficiency.
• Inspect completed electrical work to ensure accuracy, functionality, and quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and assist with problem-solving as needed.
• Manage materials, tools, and inventory needed for electrical operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and project updates.
• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with continuous improvement efforts to increase productivity and reduce errors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Experience

• Previous electrical leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Experience managing teams in a manufacturing, construction, or modular building environment preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards required.

Preferred Experience:

• Commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Experience with modular construction, prefabrication, or manufacturing environments.
• Previous experience leading electricians or electrical technicians.
