Job Description

This role focuses on glass production within an industrial manufacturing environment, supporting the creation and handling of glass and glazing products. You will operate production machinery, assist with material handling, and contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the facility on extended weekday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment used in glass manufacturing in a safe and efficient manner.

• Perform general production tasks such as loading, unloading, and processing glass materials according to work instructions.

• Use forklifts or other material handling equipment to move glass and related products within the facility.

• Monitor production processes, identify basic issues, and report any equipment or quality concerns to the appropriate personnel.

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including proper handling of glass products and use of protective equipment.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production and safety standards.

• Work effectively on 12-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, meeting production targets and quality expectations.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production orders.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production or manufacturing environments.

• Ability to operate production machinery and follow standard operating procedures.

• Basic forklift operation skills for safe material handling.

• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods and handling glass materials.

• Strong attention to safety and adherence to workplace safety practices.

• Reliability and willingness to work 12-hour shifts Monday through Thursday.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in a glass worker or glass production role.

• Familiarity with industrial or manufacturing settings.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Versailles, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
