Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid LBSI certification in Special Education (Illinois credentials preferred)
• Experience with middle school students, resource classroom supports, and collaborative co-teaching models
• Confident working independently and adapting to new environments
• Strong background in instructional planning and individualized support

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Deliver co-taught and resource instruction to 8th-grade students split between two schools (class sizes of approximately 8-10)
• Develop and implement individual learning plans
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff
• Commit to a staff contract schedule: 7:20-2:50 (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) and 7:20-3:05 (Wed)
• Participate in initial orientation activities if hired ahead of start date
