Team Member PositionThe Team Member position creates legendary experiences for guests through the production of all Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) Go food menu items and by managing the takeout process, from order to pick-up/payment.Responsibilities include:Complies with all specs, quality standards and department rules and proceduresMaintains high standards of cleanliness and keeps a sanitized and orderly environment in the HOH and FOHStays current on all federal, state, local and company required training and certificationsDiligently follows safety requirements and models behavior that protects them and othersOther duties as assignedCashier/Expo Stations responsibilities include:Warmly welcomes guests when they enter the restaurant, making personalized and authentic connectionsAnswers the phones timely with proper phone etiquette, according to BWW standardsTakes guest takeout orders via phone or in person, following the takeout steps of serviceDisplays salesmanship by recommending items, upselling add-ons and customizations to enhance guest's takeout experienceUtilizes point-of-sale system to enter takeout and all other orders using proper cash handling proceduresUses functions in KDU such as ticket time tracking, prioritize ticket and prioritize order to manage ordersMonitors ticket times to ensure they remain within standards. Takes corrective actions when standards are not metWhen bagging orders, quality checks food presentation, adherence to recipes and order accuracy. Pays close attention to any noted special requests/modifiers and allergiesManages the takeout expo screen (e.g., bumps orders, order status changes on the Guest Display Board, etc.)Places takeout order in corresponding locker and condiments on locker shelfThanks guests and invites them back on their way outKitchen Station responsibilities include:Cooks and prepares food on all stations according to recipes, build posters and timing standardsPlates food in takeout containers with attention to detail and according to standards, utilizing appropriate quality indicator stickersFollows all safety guidelines for food handling, time and temperature control and cross-contamination avoidancePreps/portions items according to need, following all recipes/specs and label with use-by datesUtilizes KDU to monitor incoming orders, prioritize items when needed and bump orders once dish is completeMaintains the fryers and quality of shortening/oil throughout shift and skims, polishes, filters and dumps fryers based on the filtering scheduleEnsures oil, hot holding, refrigerators and freezers are all at the proper temperatureTracks all waste on waste sheet throughout shiftKnowledge/Skills include:Superior guest service and hospitality skillsKnowledge of proper sanitation, food safety and security proceduresStrong verbal communication and interpersonal skillsSkill in time management and organization with attention to detailAbility to take direction and execute team and BWW objectivesCapacity to follow specific service time and guidelinesAbility to maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of timeBuffalo Wild Wings Culture:Create Legendary Experiences:Demonstrates a commitment to providing an enjoyable and positive experience for all guests (internal/external)Shows an understanding of the organization's products, offerings and service standardsUnderstands what makes us different from our competition and the evolving playing field around usResponds to guest (internal/external) requests and concerns promptly and in a positive mannerImpresses guests (internal/external) with exceptional service and helps create stories worth tellingSportsmanship/Fun:Sees success as the entire team working togetherCreates a fun atmosphere for the guest and the rest of the teamAsks for help when needed to get the work doneMakes others feel valued and part of the teamComes across as friendly, approachable and upbeat.
