Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to efficiently operate various types of forklifts including reach trucks, counterbalance forklifts, and order pickers. This role entails loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse while adhering to safety standards and maintaining organization. The position involves 12-hour shifts and includes general warehouse duties beyond forklift operation.

Responsibilities

Operate reach truck, counterbalance forklift, and order picker safely and efficiently
Load and unload materials accurately
Move materials within the warehouse to designated locations
Manage and handle inventory with care
Comply with all warehouse safety regulations
Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
Perform general warehouse tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

Valid forklift operator certification

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in warehouse operations
Proficient in forklift operation and warehouse safety
Experienced in material handling and inventory management
Knowledge of equipment maintenance
Strong attention to detail
Effective teamwork skills
