Our dedicated recruitment team focuses on delivering qualified healthcare professionals quickly while ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.Position: ICU RN (Intensive Care Unit RN) Location: Washington, DC (George Washington University Hospital) Contract Length: 13 Weeks (06/15/2026 – 09/12/2026) Shift: Nights, 3x12s (36 hrs/week, AM/PM rotation)Required ExperienceMinimum 3 years of ICU RN experienceExperience in a multidisciplinary ICU (neuro, trauma, cardiac, surgical, etc.)Strong experience with high-acuity, critically ill patientsExperience with Cerner EMR requiredEducationGraduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN programBSN – Highly preferredCertifications & LicensureActive Washington, DC RN LicenseAHA BLS (Basic Life Support)ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)NIHSS (Stroke Certification) – RequiredAdditional RequirementsMust live at least 50 miles away from the facilityAbility to work rotating shifts (AM/PM)Strong critical thinking and communication skillsComfortable in high-acuity, fast-paced ICU environmentRole ResponsibilitiesProvide care for critically ill patients across multiple specialties (neuro, cardiac, trauma, pulmonary, surgical)Operate and manage advanced ICU equipment including ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, and cardiac monitorsAssist with and monitor patients on advanced therapies (IABP, ECMO, Impella, CRRT)Perform continuous patient assessment and implement care plansAdminister medications, IV infusions, and blood productsCollaborate with multidisciplinary care teamsSupport and educate patients' families
