The Leisure Activity Specialist (LAS)/ Health Care Technician I (HCT I) is responsible for staffing Main Street and the Lighthouse during operational hours and any other approved scheduled on and off unit activities. Provide basic nursing and personal care needs, provide close monitoring, and ensure resident safety by properly securing unit doors when entering and exiting the unit. The LAS/ HCT must be able to recognize changes in resident behavior and be familiar with the plan of care of each assigned resident. The LAS/ HCT must be able to document observed resident behavior and care rendered written completely and accurately. The LAS/HCT functions under the direct supervision of a RN/LPN. This position is considered mandatory, which means employees are required to report to work during adverse weather and emergency conditions. In adverse weather and emergency conditions, resident care is the primary work assignment. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Recruitment Range: $32,444 - $48,665
