Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and manage orthopedic patients in outpatient and inpatient settingsAssist orthopedic surgeons in the operating roomConduct pre-operative and post-operative assessmentsDevelop treatment plans and provide patient educationOrder and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studiesPerform procedures within scope of practiceCollaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and rehabilitation teamsQualificationsGraduate of an accredited Physician Assistant programNCCPA certification requiredIllinois PA license (or eligibility to obtain)Orthopedic experience preferred, but new graduates with orthopedic rotations will be consideredStrong communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skillsOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
