Senior Engineer - API Architecture

Owning the API and integration intake pipeline, the full-time Senior Engineer - API Architecture will ensure consistent execution across workstreams, define API contract standards, and design secure boundary controls in a remote environment. Key responsibilities: Manage the API and integration intake pipeline for consistent triage and execution Define and enforce API contract standards and govern integration patterns across the enterprise Design and implement secure boundary controls to protect sensitive data in lower environments Required qualifications: Proven experience in designing and implementing API ecosystems and integration architectures at scale Deep understanding of API contract design (REST, AsyncAPI) and governance models Strong experience with API gateways and orchestration/iPaaS platforms Expertise in modern authentication/authorization methods such as OAuth2 and OpenID Connect Experience with event-driven architecture and tools like Kafka or AWS MSK
