Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Mental Health Therapist to be part of our Behavioral Health Team, serving both the Integrated Care Clinic and the Recovery Education Center (REC) in Sylva, NC.

A newly hired Therapist/Behavioral Health Service Provider can receive a sign on bonus of up to $5,000.00, depending on the service agreement chosen. Service contracts are for 1, 2, or 3 years.

What You'll Do:

The Mental Health clinician is responsible for providing outpatient mental health treatment/service to patients in the Integrated Care Clinic and Recovery Education center settings. This position provides assessment, crisis intervention, individual and group treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to individuals with a broad range of mental health and substance abuse issues and assists in coordinating care for individuals across programs. The position requires interaction with provider agencies and referral sources, participating in team meetings when appropriate and as requested, and offering education and support to the community.

What We're Looking For:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Required (fully or provisionally licensed or license eligible)
• 2 years clinical work experience preferred
• LCAS or LCAS-A licensure a plus
• Ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop and implement viable treatment plans
• Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
• Experience in individual and group therapy including recovery work
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Bilingual a plus
