Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all operations of the Nursing Department
- Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and internal standards
- Promote a healthy physical, social, and psychological environment for residents
- Anticipate and proactively respond to resident and staff needs
- Provide oversight and guidance on clinical practices and staff training
- Foster a culture of continuous development and high-quality care
- Current RN license in good standing
- 5-7 years of nursing experience in long-term care
- 5+ years of management/supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations
- Strong leadership and goal-setting abilities
- Skilled in coaching and developing high-performing teams
- Directly manages subordinate supervisors and their teams within the Health Center
- Responsible for hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development
- Ensures department operations comply with organizational policies and applicable laws
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
- Deep understanding of geriatric care, chronic medical conditions, rehabilitation, and independence promotion
