We are contractors who specialize in providing energy efficiency through construction improvements. We are an *all hands-on deck* operation, working with Eversource Energy and Avangrid. As an employee at HEES you will be working on any given team providing Energy Efficiency Assessments and Energy Efficiency Work, included but not limited to Insulation Installation, Window Installation and all other associated tasks that the Home Energy Solutions and Home Energy Solutions Income Eligible In-Home Services program requires. We provide caulking, foaming and weatherization services and if the home qualifies, we can also install insulation in attics, walls, basements and crawlspaces. We remove old single paned windows and install triple paned energy efficient windows.

Job Location: All of CT but focus on Fairfield, New Haven and Hartford Counties

Start time: Varies depends on where the job is located. Generally, we provide 40 hours+ a week.

Starting Pay: 20$ hourly with paid overtime (more will be offered to experienced applicants

- Bonuses are given monthly and based on productivity.

- Raises will depend on you and your willingness to work and learn.

We are looking for candidates with the following aptitudes, experience and qualities:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- General carpentry skills

- Team player with strong character

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, in speech and writing, with customers, staff, managers,

supervisors, contractors and clients

- Valid driver's license required

- Perform the essential functions and physical demands of the position without accommodation

- BPI certifications (We also pay for and train)

- Full Background check mandatory

- Hard working, Reliable and Responsible

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Physically active position which includes climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling,

reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, typing, grasping, talking, hearing and using repetitive

motion. Climbing up ladders to enter an attic from the exterior-possibly **up to 35 ft.**

- Entering small spaces i.e. crawl spaces and attics .

- Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination .

- Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through

automated devices such as the telephone.

- Visual capacity enabling frequent use of computer equipment, operating a motor vehicle and/or heavy

equipment.

- Heavy work: ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force

frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
