• Willingness to be flexible with on-call requirements.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays.
• Experience with CVOR procedures such as Atrial Septal Defect Repair, CABG, and other cardiac surgeries.
• General/Ortho/Spine or Robot experience preferred.

Description:

Call will vary based on department needs. Must be flexible for scheduling. No first-timers accepted. Is on-call required? Yes. Call requirements include two primary weekday calls and two secondary weekday calls. Primary weekend calls and secondary weekend calls are also required. The cardiac program is currently small, and there may be weeks without cardiac cases. Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Additional references covering one year in the last three years are required during the compliance process prior to the start. Providers must disclose any licensing or background issues upfront. Two references covering one year within the last three years are mandatory. Travelers must maintain the ability to adapt to varying case loads and surgical needs. Providers must complete required modules prior to the start and annually. Completion of modules is self-reported and recorded in transcripts.
