Job Details Location: Avera Sacred Heart Hospital Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Primarily days with night, weekend and holiday on-call involvement (United States of America) Pay Range: $260,000.00 - $260,000.00 Job Overview Cares for patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings for procedures including, but not limited to, surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management. Position Highlights Eligible for up to a $50,000 sign‑on bonus Responsibilities Performs a pre‑operative patient assessment. Determines a plan of care and communicates the plan to patient and family. Establishes and maintains essential venous access. Ensures establishment and maintenance of airway. Responsible for inducting, maintaining the anesthesia, and proper monitoring. Responsible for completing the anesthesia and the emergence from anesthesia. Transfers care to appropriate staff at termination of procedure. Performs post‑operative follow‑up for each case performed. Performs as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students. Qualifications Must be able to work the specified hours. Must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily, including visual acuity adequate for duties and effective communication. Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) — Board of Nursing active license in the state of practice upon hire. Registered Nurse (RN) — Board of Nursing active license in the state of practice upon hire. Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist — National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) upon hire.
