General Practice Care - Medical Lead Veterinarian - Wilmington, NC An exceptional veterinary hospital, with a dedicated team, is seeking an experienced Medical Lead Veterinarian to provide advanced clinical guidance, support day-to-day medical operations, and ensure superior patient and client care. The ideal leader for this hospital is a veterinarian who excels in clinical excellence, supports team development, and serves as a key bridge between associate veterinarians and senior leadership. This hospital is open to considering experienced veterinarians who are prepared to take on a clinical leadership role, mentoring team members, supporting medical protocols, and collaborating closely with the Medical Director and practice manager.

Credentials & Qualifications That Are Required Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree (VMD) from an AVMA accredited college or university. Active state license in good standing, or currently pursuing licensure. Current DEA license in good standing, or willing to obtain. A commitment to veterinary excellence and upholding the Principles of Veterinary Medical Ethics. Proven clinical experience, typically 3+ years in general practice.
