Licensed Insurance Agent

Location: Bryan, Texas Role: Licensed Insurance Sales Agent (Full‑Time, Field Role). This position offers a sign‑on bonus and uncapped commissions. Job Overview As a licensed insurance agent you will handle frequent personal home visits with new and existing customers to collect premiums, conduct sales of new policies, and address service needs. You will manage an established book of business, prospect for new sales, and receive commissions on premiums collected each month. Responsibilities Coordinate home visits and conduct sales presentations, recommend products, and close new sales. Prospect for new sales opportunities. Maintain strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre‑arranged schedule. Respond promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans. Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork. Agent Expectations Grow the assigned territory through new sales. Build strong working relationships with customers. Devote the necessary time to fulfill responsibilities. Pursue continuous professional development in insurance products and sales effectiveness. Qualifications Fully licensed to sell all Kemper Life products (Life, Health, P&C) in your resident state. Customer service experience. Minimum age 18. Valid driver’s license with required auto insurance coverage. Dependable vehicle for daily travel. Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening. Authorization to work in the United States. Compensation & Bonus Program Sign‑on bonus and uncapped commissions. Licensed Agent Bonus Program: $750 bonus when hired and assigned to an agency; $1,500 bonus after six production months; $2,500 bonus after 12 production months (eligible for a total of $4,750 during the first year if maintaining a $200 average monthly issued premium).
