Position Summary We are seeking a passionate outpatient orthopedic and/or sports Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based rehabilitation services to patients with orthopedic conditions. The role is part of the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute, providing a collaborative environment with orthopedic physicians. Responsibilities Appropriately treat patients according to professional standards of practice. Coordinate patient care with other team members and counsel patients and their families. Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards. Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Maintain a cheerful, active treatment area. Show caring, honesty, and open communication with all; encourage a smart and professional appearance. Participate in Quality Assessment, program development, student supervision, assigned committees, safety, and infection control. Be aware of legal issues, patient rights, and compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies. Use and select supplies and equipment efficiently. Perform all other duties as assigned. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to patients of various ages. Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan, assess patient data, and interpret appropriate information to identify patient requirements and provide needed care. Qualifications Education/Training Associate degree or graduate from an accredited two‑year college program in Physical Therapist Assistant. Licensure/Certification Current license in the State of Florida as Physical Therapist Assistant. Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification. Experience None required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
