\nBayCare is looking for Patient Care Techs/Certified Nursing Assistants/CNAs to join our team!
\nPatient Care Tech/Certified Nursing Assistant positions are available with Mease Dunedin Hospital in Dunedin, FL. If you would like to start working in a dynamic hospital environment in a supportive team environment providing hands-on care for patients with a leader in healthcare, please join BayCare as a Patient Care Technician.
\nPosition details:
\nFacility: Mease Dunedin Hospital
\nLocation: Dunedin, FL
\nShift: Full time hours are 3 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend
\nShift: Part time hours are 2 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend
\nShift: Day shifts 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
\nShift: Night shifts 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
\n \nPatient Care Tech/ Certified Nursing Assistant responsibilities and skills:
\n- \n
- Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. \n
Requirements:
\n- \n
- High School Diploma or GED minimum \n
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (from American Red Cross or American Heart Association) \n
- A minimum of one of the following: \n
- 6 months of PCT/CNA acute care experience, or \n
- 1 year of PCT/CNA experience in a skilled nursing or rehab facility, or \n
- Completion of Nursing Fundamentals (RN) or Nursing Foundations (LPN) Programs, or \n
- Completion of a PCT or Nursing Assistant program which includes at least 40 hours of an external clinical component, or \n
- Successful completion of a BayCare sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT internship, or \n
- EMT certification/Paramedic license for ER only \n
