Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will be part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and delivers through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, parking areas, gates, and perimeter zones, helping to deter unauthorized access and other security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report maintenance issues, hazards, or suspicious behavior observed during patrols.
• Support day-to-day security-related operations by following post orders, maintaining accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicating clearly with team members and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
