Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues in engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C systems
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems using proper tools and equipment
- Communicate with Service Advisors to explain repair needs and provide accurate time estimates for additional work
- Execute repairs under warranty following Ford manufacturer specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and uphold dealership safety standards
Qualifications
- 2+ years of automotive service technician experience preferred
- Ford Certification required (B-level or higher preferred)
- Experience at a Ford dealership strongly preferred
- Proficiency in diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
