Job Description:

As a Dietary Aide at Civita Care Center at Newington, you'll have a hands-on role where you'll:

• Assist in preparing delicious meals and snacks

• Keep our dining areas clean and welcoming

• Help with receiving, rotating, and storing supplies and food

• Maintain clean and safe food storage and work areas

• Ensure equipment and supplies are in good condition

• Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleaning

• Interact with our residents, their families, our staff, and the community

• Handle food following safety regulations and report any issues to your supervisor

Qualifications:

To succeed as a Dietary Aide, you should have:

• The ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, turn, stoop, and stretch

• Capability to unload and stock groceries, including lifting items up to 50 lbs

• Good writing and record-keeping skills, as well as the ability to follow both spoken and written instructions in English

• The composure to work efficiently during emergencies

• Effective communication skills with residents, staff, and family members in a professional manner
