Operations Support Specialist

Location: Cranbury, NJ-Hybrid, onsite Tuesday through Thursday Position Overview We are seeking an Associate Research Support Specialistto support the research, tracking, and resolution of business incidents. This role is responsible for reviewing escalated issues, determining the appropriate teams needed for resolution, researching issues within business systems, and maintaining accurate updates throughout the incident management process. Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate escalated business incidents to ensure information is complete and the issue is clearly defined. Determine the appropriate team or resources needed to address each incident. Research issues within applicable systems to identify the problem and next steps for resolution. Maintain clear and accurate incident notes and customer updates in ServiceNow . Communicate incident progress and status updates to coworkers, vendors, and customers. Review and analyze data to support incident and problem resolution, including claims and enrollment impacts. Help identify the root cause of incidents and ensure appropriate corrective actions are completed. Identify related incidents and connect them to existing ServiceNow Problems or initiate new problems when appropriate. Develop an understanding of business processes, workflows, and systems to effectively research and resolve issues. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred, or equivalent education and experience. 1+ year of relevant business experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong organizational and time-management skills. General understanding of business processes, workflows, and systems. Working knowledge of project management methods.
