Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 48 Hours Per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Orthopedic unit within a short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center setting
• Operate within team nursing ratio guidelines as directed by unit management
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as needed per unit scheduling requirements
• Float to like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius as operationally required
• Adhere to all facility compliance, credentialing, and documentation standards throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical Orthopedic nursing experience
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• At least one prior completed travel nursing assignment required
• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted)
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local travelers are not eligible)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of recent specialty experience
• EPIC electronic health record experience
• ADN accepted; BSN not required for this position
