Quality Technician

We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team of talented professionals. Some Job Functions for a Quality Technician: Performing inspections, testing, and audits on products and processes at various stages of production to ensure that Emco Wheaton standards and customer specifications are being maintained. Participate in failure analysis and investigations. Maintain accurate documentation. Perform all duties according to company standards and safety procedures while maintaining an acceptable attendance record. Work closely and coordinate with the Quality Manager, Engineering and Production to advance the mission of Emco Wheaton Retail in servicing our customers. The successful candidate will possess: Ability to read engineering drawings, set up and read measuring equipment. (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.) Excellent math, communication, and critical thinking skills. Computer skills including Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word. One year’s experience working in a quality control department or metrology lab. (preferred) High school diploma or equivalent required. Organized self-starter who can work individually or as part of a team. Ability to work overtime as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
