Registered Nurse - Oncology

Location: Dallas, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7A-7P

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Oncology unit. This unit provides specialized care to patients undergoing treatment for various types of cancer. You will be integral in delivering high-quality nursing care, ensuring adherence to protocols and standards.

Responsibilities:

Administer blood and electrolyte replacement daily.
Perform sterile dressing changes in compliance with infection prevention protocols.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Active RN License.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Strong understanding of sterile dressing changes and infection prevention.
Familiarity with blood and electrolyte replacement protocols.
General medical oncology understanding and knowledge of ports and central lines preferred.
