Pfizer seeks a Clinical Development Medical Director to provide medical and scientific leadership for a Phase 3 prostate cancer oncology trial. The role encompasses study oversight, medical monitoring, safety evaluation, data interpretation, and regulatory document development across a global matrix organization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Medical Monitor and provide clinical leadership for Phase 3 prostate cancer trial
- Conduct medical monitoring including eligibility consultation, adverse event review, and safety surveillance
- Lead development and review of clinical protocols, informed consent documents, and regulatory submissions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data review, interpretation, and analysis plans
- Engage with investigators, health authorities, and governance bodies on study strategy and risk mitigation
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with oncology clinical expertise
- Experience as medical monitor or clinical development medical director
- Strong knowledge of prostate cancer treatment and clinical practice
- Demonstrated ability to lead across matrix organizations and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in regulatory affairs and health authority interactions
- Excellent medical writing and scientific communication skills
