About the Position

RN – Short Stay (Epic)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 4x10 Schedule (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient or group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines and departments
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making
• Support and participate in an Epic EMR conversion environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years (each work history entry must specify the charting system used, including date ranges if multiple EMR systems were used at the same organization)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS)
• ACLS certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
• PALS certification (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS)
• Demonstrated history of successfully completing employment or contract assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
