Job Summary:
Radiology Specialist Assistant in Watertown, New York. This role involves providing patient care services under the supervision of a physician in an interventional radiology setting. Job Details:

• Location: Watertown, New York
• Schedule: Days shift, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an approved course of study acceptable to the New York State Education Department; Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field; certification as a Radiologist Assistant (RA) or Physician Assistant (PA) with radiology focus preferred; current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography; additional certifications in CT, Ultrasound, or Interventional Radiology (e.g., RRA - Registered Radiologist Assistant) are highly desirable; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred; no minimum years of experience required.
• Responsibilities include performing fluoroscopic procedures such as barium studies, joint injections under fluoroscopic or ultrasound guidance, paracentesis, thoracentesis, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safety and quality of patient care.
• Additional Information: The position involves maintaining confidentiality of protected health information, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and documenting procedures accurately.
