As an Insurance Sales Representative, you’ll help individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most by identifying their insurance needs and recommending personalized coverage solutions. Contact prospective customers, identify their insurance needs, and provide personalized coverage recommendations. Prepare insurance quotes, present coverage options, address objections, and confidently ask for the sale. Follow up consistently with prospective customers to maximize sales opportunities. Identify opportunities to bundle auto, home, life, and other insurance products. Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, including real estate agents, mortgage lenders, and local businesses. Meet or exceed established daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity and production goals. Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities, and follow‑up tasks in agency management systems. Participate in daily team huddles, sales training, coaching, and role‑playing exercises. Provide professional, knowledgeable, and customer‑focused service throughout the sales process. Requirements Qualifications & Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently engage prospective customers. Comfortable making outbound calls, following up with leads, and initiating conversations with potential clients. Self‑motivated, competitive, and driven to achieve individual and team sales goals. Ability to handle rejection, overcome objections, and maintain a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects, follow‑up activities, and deadlines. Coachable, dependable, and willing to participate in ongoing training and professional development. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven sales environment. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn customer relationship management (CRM) and insurance quoting systems. Ability to work full‑time, in person, at our San Antonio office. Previous sales or customer‑facing experience preferred, but not required. Texas Property & Casualty insurance license preferred. Unlicensed candidates must be willing and able to obtain the required license before performing licensed insurance activities.
