Job Description

Great opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to join a large, established Accounting & Finance team in Lincoln! This Accountant will support day-to-day accounting for multiple locations, with a strong initial focus on accounts payable, journal entries, reconciliations, and other general accounting functions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Accounting graduate who has gained practical experience through an internship, part-time accounting position, or early-career role. You’ll have the chance to build on your accounting foundation, learn from an experienced team, and cross-train into additional responsibilities as you grow.

What You’ll Do

• Review invoices, expenses, and credit card activity for proper coding and accuracy
• Assist with accounts payable, vendor payments, and resolving invoice or payment discrepancies
• Prepare recurring journal entries and support other general ledger accounting activities
• Complete bank and account reconciliations while researching and resolving discrepancies
• Support accounting processes across multiple locations, including deposits, expense allocations, and other recurring accounting activities

What You Bring

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Relevant accounting experience through an internship, part-time position, or professional role preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to learn new accounting systems and processes
• Strong communication skills with an interest in learning and taking on additional accounting responsibilities
