Product Designer Flickplay is a Web3 Social App where you can unlock Digital Assets around you, and create videos with them using AR — Our vision is to create a more synchronized reality between the things you own digitally and how they integrate in your even day experience. To do so Flickplay map allows brands to activate digital stores in real-world locations, and offer their fans a platform to access and interact with their digital assets as a community, providing a true metaverse experience in the real world— all in one mobile app. Job Description We're looking for a Product Designer to help FlickPlay to continue to build the metaverse. Working from our Los Angeles, CA office, you will be a core part of our team and develop new features for the FlickPlay app. From proposing initial concepts to ensuring we ship high quality features you will have a key impact on shaping the platform. You will be expected to contribute to all aspects of product design and execution, including pitching the product, designing the product (visual design, interaction design, and prototyping), making data driven decisions, and communicating the product to the necessary audiences within the company. We are a small but mighty team launching a big product with a massive vision so there are ample of exciting opportunities to make a huge impact on the direction of the product. Main Responsibilities Own design problems end to end, from initial concept through shipping and beyond Build flows and prototypes to solve difficult UX problems Obsessive with the details. Able to dig into different edge cases. Work with CEO and department leads to define products. Translate requirements and strategic functionality into design execution. Be a bridge, interpreter, and communicator. Able to partner with in-house marketing team, engineering team, and all other departments, as well as ship work and collaborate with contractors. Improve your designs based on quantitative and qualitative feedback Brainstorm and iterate with your design to meet the company goal Qualifications 3+ years of product design experience, 2+ years of experience with iOS product design, and at least 1 released app on the iOS App Store. Skilled with Figma, Adobe Photoshop and Illustration A portfolio showing your high quality, thoughtful UI/UX work, with examples of developing and conveying ideas clearly in a written and visual format. Good presentation and communication skill. Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and levels Experience with hierarchical content structure and content management systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience building products for Android and web is a plus Knowledge of mobile and web design patterns Familiar with iOS release pipeline Experience building social, AR camera, or gamified functioned app, that targets to end users. Experience building Web 3 or NFT related features. Outstanding graphic or illustration work. Experience working in an early stage startup or small team. Experience managing contractors. Experience creating and managing JIRA tickets, or other task management software. Basic event data analysis skills. Ability to facilitate team discussions and help drive toward decisions Flickplay
