There are 3 Cath Labs at UF Health's Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab. The Director is a servant-leader at UF Health Leesburg Hospital and he is dedicated to the success of his team and the people of his community. Responsibilities

The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. This position shift will be:

• 7am-7pm = 3 12 hours shifts + On-Call (1 night a week and 1 weekend a month approximately every 3rd or 4th weekend=Fri night close of business to Mon 6 am)
• Must report within 30 min.

Qualifications

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy
• In lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years' experience and:
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) OR
• Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
• If no ARRT, then one of the following licenses or certifications:
• FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license OR
• FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license OR
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR
• Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification
• Any of the four license/certifications above within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields
• BLS required
• ACLS required
