IT Config/ Depot Technician- 1st shift

Onsite - Paulsboro, NJ

Basic PC Configuration and Logistics

Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the receiving and storing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Picks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Verifies inbound and outbound orders to ensure all components and quantities were picked and assembled correctly • Maintains records of received goods, rejects unsatisfactory items where necessary and prepares them for shipment back to the vendor. • Arranges for delivery of goods to Branch locations, customer sites, etc. via Federal Express, UPS or other freight carriers in the most cost effective manner. • Removes empty pallets and trash from assigned areas. • Assists the configuration team with some configuration orders (boxing/unboxing, asset tags, etc.). • Assembles Configuration orders in Order Fulfillment. • Operates a forklift to move product to desire
