Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
Location: Pensacola, FL
Type: Permanent
Shift & Schedule: Days (Rotating Weekends) | Primarily Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Requires 2 Weekend Shifts per Month
Pay: $35.00/hr - $49.18/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) for an exciting Local job in Pensacola, FL.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and functional assessments.

• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.

• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions to maximize patient outcomes.

• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment goals and home programs.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and rehabilitation staff.

• Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to therapy assistants and students when applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.

• Current State Occupational Therapist License (OTR/L).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.

• Strong patient assessment and treatment planning skills.

• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities.

• Experience working with diverse patient populations and complex rehabilitation needs.
