Preventative Maintenance Mechanic

What you'll be doing day to day Perform preventative maintenance routines on all warehouse and dock equipment. Maintain all work orders associated with preventative maintenance routines. Clean, lubricate, adjust, tighten, and paint all warehouse equipment as needed. Respond to requests for assistance from Maintenance staff. Light painting and cleaning duties. Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers. Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned. We work to improve the customer experience at IKEA. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years prior Building Maintenance experience required. Must have experience with hand tools and their proper use. Proven electrical, mechanical, and/or plumbing skills. Safety minded individual. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30 kgs ergonomically. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have ability to obtain an IKEA forklift driver certification. Apply now! Job type – Permanent, Full-time. Benefits eligible? Yes.
