The applicant should have a strong academic record in the area of ILD. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of rheumatologists, radiologists, pathologists, advanced lung disease experts and transplant specialists. Provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced lung disease with emphasis on ILD across the entire transplant continuum in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Manage a comprehensive ILD center and programs that provide care for over 1,500 patients. Participate in multidisciplinary pulmonary consults, ICU rounds and be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents and fellows. Engage in scholarly activities such as clinical research, quality improvement and academic presentations. Priority given to candidates with expertise in both heart and lung transplantation. Actively involved in resident and medical student education within USF Health Morsani College of Medicine.
