091 ON PREMISE - WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE - MIDSHIFT (80918)

Job Details: Location: 091 Houston Warehouse - Houston, TX 77080. Position Type: Full Time Essential Duties and Responsibilities Knows and actively demonstrates the Company Mission Statement and Core Values daily. Correctly identifies product by SKU, size, varietal, and rack bin location. Makes necessary notes on invoices to show variances, changes, and out‑of‑stock products. Maintains control and integrity of pull cart to ensure no product is removed until the order is completely pulled. Maintains neat and orderly product rack areas while order selecting. Maintains pull cart staging area to ensure any order can be quickly verified upon checking. Packs wholesale order products neatly without damage to ensure integrity of items at delivery. Tags wholesale customer orders according to quantity of shipment. Maintains security and proper usage of all TABC stamps utilized for wholesale customer orders. Works with and maintains TABC stamp guns and machines. Restocks supplies and utilizes equipment when needed to ensure replenishment of products in the racks. Informs manager/lead of out of stocks or inventory variance on all items. Works with and maintains computer equipment. Assists in prep for inventory and assists in inventory process. Practices teamwork and cooperation with coworkers. Seeks to continually improve related skills and knowledge to contribute to profitability and productivity. Undertakes responsibilities with care and attention to detail. Lifts 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally in each shift. Properly utilizes a dolly and/or pallet jack. Pushes or pulls 50–100 pounds regularly. Completes other projects as assigned by management. Efficiently carries out all directives given by the Management Team. Works in accord with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHA. Possesses time management skills, prioritizes tasks, and meets the demands of the day. Maintains attendance and timeliness; attendance can not be performed from home. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Education or Experience: 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred. High school diploma or GED required; experience may substitute for formal education. Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions or memos; communicate clearly with coworkers and guests. Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic—including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals—without the aid of a calculator. Attitudinal and Personal Skills: Responsible, reliable, and committed to providing excellent service. Demonstrates patience, friendliness, and an outgoing personality; self‑starter with a strong work ethic who completes assignments in a timely manner. Hours: Full‑time is typically 40 hours per week. Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday and must be available 80% or more of all shifts each week. Part‑time positions allow up to 25 hours per week. Physical Demands: Regular standing, walking, bending, use of hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, talking and hearing. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with proper tools. Must be able to use an industrial machine to move pallets up to 2,400 pounds.
