Our fast-paced, collaborative team works to build better products, smarter systems, and more efficient processes.About the Role We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Process Engineering Intern to join our Operations team in Los Angeles. You'll gain real-world experience in manufacturing, process development, and continuous improvement. This is a floor-based role. You will spend significant time on the manufacturing floor working directly alongside production team members, learning how work is performed, documenting processes, and developing practical SOPs and training materials.This is a 3-month internship with potential for full-time employment based on performance and company needs.What You'll DoWork directly on the manufacturing floor alongside production team membersObserve and document how tasks and processes are actually performedWork with employees to develop and improve SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and training materialsDevelop visual process documentation and training materials to make processes easier to followCreate process maps and document best practicesStandardize processes across production, assembly, inventory, and shippingIdentify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvementAssist with Lean and continuous improvement projectsHelp develop and implement improved work methodsTrain and support team members on newly developed processes and SOPsTest processes on the floor and make adjustments based on real-world resultsTrack improvements and measure resultsHelp improve productivity, quality, safety, and consistencyCollaborate with Operations, Production, Inventory, Purchasing, Quality, and other teamsWhat We're Looking ForMust-Have SkillsPursuing or recently completed a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related fieldStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsComfortable with Excel/Google SheetsStrong attention to detailInterest in manufacturing and process improvementWillingness to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment and alongside production team membersNice-to-Have SkillsLean Manufacturing experience or courseworkProcess mapping or SOP development experienceManufacturing or production experienceExposure to time studies, root cause analysis, or workflow analysisExperience creating training or process documentationWhat You'll GainHands-on manufacturing and process engineering experienceDirect experience working on a manufacturing floorExperience creating SOPs, work instructions, and standardized processesExposure to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvementExperience working directly with production and operations teamsPractical experience solving real process inefficienciesCross-functional experience within a growing manufacturing companyMentorship and professional experience beyond the classroomReal process improvement work to add to your portfolioIf you're ready to turn your engineering education into real-world experience and help build better processes at a growing manufacturing company, we'd love to hear from you.
