Description – What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory analyses—covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—following carefully established protocols.
• Examine results for correctness, investigate any discrepancies, and carry out necessary preventative maintenance and calibration of lab instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for laboratory testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, guide new team members or students, and help maintain high standards of laboratory quality.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be secured within the first year of employment.
• Maintain valid certification throughout your tenure.
