Special Instructions to ApplicantsAbout this Position

The Academic Assistant position will be housed within the Office of Educational Development within Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences (OSU-CHS) at the Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.  This position will serve as the primary academic support for the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) at the Cherokee Nation (OSU-COM/CN). The support personnel will assist faculty, staff, and students with curricular support tasks and other administrative support duties assigned by the Manager of Instructional Design, the Director of Educational Development, and/or Associate Dean for Curriculum.

Required Qualifications

Associates/Vocational Degree or equivalent experience  (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
6 months of relevant experience

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

- Demonstrates exceptional comfort in a PC environment, showcasing advanced technical proficiency in the latest versions of software applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and various multimedia tools (Adobe, etc.). 

- Exhibits a willingness and capability to acquire knowledge of specialized software, such as eMedley, examN, Survey Monkey, and SignUp Genius. 
- Possesses strong multitasking abilities, ensuring prompt responses to faculty inquiries while managing a range of responsibilities. 
- Maintains a high standard of confidentiality, effectively safeguarding sensitive information. 
- Displays adaptability and a proactive approach to learning new technologies and software applications as needed.

2 years relevant experience
