Respiratory Therapist

Overview The Sleep Respiratory Therapist role supports the Sleep Clinic and Diagnostic Labs at Dayton Children's South Campus, working full-time with a 32-hour weekly schedule, Monday to Friday. Under the guidance of the Clinic Manager and Medical Director, this role involves: Responsibilities Providing patient education on sleep-related breathing disorders and PAP therapy Monitoring PAP compliance and verifying device settings Assisting with intake, patient/family education, and supporting complex cases in specialty clinics Supporting sleep lab procedures such as PAP naps, desensitization MSLTs, and Actigraphy Discharge planning, including home respiratory care assessments, resource management, and coordination of treatments like oxygen and PAP devices Collaborating with the care team and serving as a resource for patients, families, and community agencies Qualifications Qualifications include an Associate\'s Degree, 2-3 years pediatric respiratory care experience, RCP licensure, and BLS. Preferred qualifications are a Bachelor\'s Degree, 1 year sleep lab experience, and certifications like SDS or RPSGT.
