Payments Project Manager

Our client, a leading organization in the financial technology sector, is seeking a Payments Project Manager to join their team. As a Payments Project Manager, you will be part of the Strategic Payments Innovation Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Payments Project Manager Location: Charlotte, NC (On-site) Pay Range: What's the Job? Lead end-to-end delivery of a strategic payments technology initiative focused on integrating next-generation payments platforms with SWIFT's ledger technology. Coordinate project planning, execution, governance, and risk management to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Partner closely with engineering, architecture, product, and business teams to develop and implement innovative payment solutions. Facilitate technical discussions, ensuring alignment between business objectives and engineering efforts. Manage functional and technical requirements, track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables, and communicate progress to stakeholders. What's Needed? 7+ years of experience managing enterprise technology projects, particularly in the payments domain. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Experience managing application development projects with engineering teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive projects independently. What's in it for me?
