Role Description The Licensed Massage Therapist at Seluh provides high-quality, client-centered bodywork to support relaxation, stress relief, and overall wellness. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough client consultations, performing customized massage sessions, and maintaining accurate treatment notes. The therapist will collaborate with the team to create a consistent, welcoming experience, uphold cleanliness and safety standards, and recommend appropriate services or products. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Lawrence, MA, requiring availability for evenings and/or weekends depending on client demand. Qualifications Ability to deliver professional, empathetic Customer Service, ensuring each guest feels welcomed, respected, and supported. Demonstrated proficiency in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage techniques tailored to individual client needs and wellness goals. Experience or training in Shiatsu or similar modalities that enhance holistic bodywork offerings. Skills in Stress Management support, including educating clients on relaxation techniques and wellness practices. Active state license as a Massage Therapist (or eligibility to obtain in Massachusetts). Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage. Ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical practice standards. Strong communication skills and an interest in working in a collaborative, inclusive wellness environment.
