Psychologist – Multidisciplinary Diagnostic & Training Program (MDTP) Position: Full‑time (FTE 1.0), 12‑month psychologist in the Department of Pediatrics, Neurology Division. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Administer standardized cognitive and academic achievement measures, parent and teacher questionnaires to evaluate student cognitive, academic, and socio‑emotional functioning. Interpret results and identify evidence‑based interventions to address identified needs. Provide consultation services to parents, teachers, instructional personnel, and other school staff to facilitate implementation of evidence‑based interventions to improve academic engagement, learning, skill development, and readiness for post‑secondary transition of at‑risk K‑12 students. Provide collaborative consultation to educators in school‑based educational planning meetings. Deliver direct consultation/intervention services to at‑risk students and their parents/caregivers targeting barriers to academic engagement, learning, and skill development. Conduct student behavioral observations in classroom settings and provide targeted consultative support to classroom teachers. Conduct comprehensive progress monitoring assessments with students, families, and teachers/school personnel to determine the effectiveness and implementation levels of recommendations. Write psychological evaluation and consultation reports and maintain all appropriate records as required and in a timely manner. This position will be supervised by the Program Director.
