Sr Finance Associate - Private Debt

We are seeking a Senior Finance Associate to support financial operations and analysis within a private debt environment. This role will focus on portfolio reporting, investment tracking, and financial analysis to support lending activities and strategic decision-making.ResponsibilitiesSupport financial reporting and performance analysis for private debt portfolios Build and maintain financial models related to loan structures, cash flow forecasting, and investment returns Monitor portfolio performance, including interest income, covenant compliance, and risk metrics Assist with deal execution activities, including financial due diligence and underwriting support Prepare internal and external reporting packages for senior management and investors Partner with investment, accounting, and operations teams to ensure accurate data and reporting Analyze borrower financial statements and track key credit metrics Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives Assist with audit processes and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 3–6 years of experience in finance, private credit, banking, or asset management Experience with debt instruments, credit analysis, or leveraged finance preferred Strong financial modeling and analytical skills Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with financial systems or data tools is a plus Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting concepts Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication and collaboration skills Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
