About the Position

Job Title: X-Ray Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: X-Ray Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 40 hours/week; Monday - Friday, 0700 start time Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current X-Ray experience required License: IA radiology license preferred; will accept non-licensed candidates who must apply for a license upon acceptance Certifications: BLS, ARRT certificate required Must-Have: - Active Iowa/IA license or IDPH State Permit preferred - Skills Checklist specific to X-Ray discipline required - Professional reference from a charge, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO performance evaluation within the last 24 months preferred - Driver's License required - Current/recent Operating Room competency/experience preferred - Equipment experience with Phillips and Carestream portables preferred - Fluoro experience preferred Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates. Candidates will be required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming Summer holidays unless the unit is closed. ARRT certification is mandatory for applicants. A minimum of 15 months of X-Ray experience in a clinic or hospital setting is required. Experience with GE OEC c-arm equipment is a requirement. Experience with Siemens Cysto and Toshiba fluoro equipment is highly preferred. 1st time travelers are welcome to apply, but must have at least 24 months of X-Ray experience. An active Iowa license is highly preferred.
