Duties and Responsibilities Operate Company Vehicles Safely: Drive a company vehicle responsibly, following all local, state, and federal driving regulations as well as company policies. Deliver Packages Efficiently and On Time: Load and unload packages with care, ensuring prompt and accurate deliveries to customers. Keep Vehicles Clean and Ready: Keep the delivery van clean, organized, and fueled to support uninterrupted operations. Drive‑in All‑Weather Conditions: Safely operate vehicles and complete routes in various weather conditions. Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Always represent FreshDirect with professionalism and a positive attitude. Deliver outstanding service, ensuring customer satisfaction even in demanding situations. Qualifications 2 years of recent commercial truck driving experience. Valid NY driver’s license (non-CDL). Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is not required. Safe driving record: = 3 points, = 1 accident, minimal suspensions. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Flexible working weekends, holidays, mornings, or evenings.
