Job Title: Summer Internship – Quality Assurance Specialist Job Location: Indianapolis, Indiana Company Overview: DHL Global Forwarding (DGF) is a leading provider of air and ocean freight services and is expanding its life sciences and healthcare logistics capabilities. This internship offers exposure to GXP (Good Distribution Practice) compliance and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support Quality & GXP Compliance Activities: Assist with monitoring GXP compliance for Life Sciences and Healthcare shipments across U.S. operations by reviewing documentation and processes. Assist with Quality Metrics & Reporting: Collect, track, and analyze quality and GXP metrics/KPIs, support reporting efforts, and identify trends for continuous improvement. Contribute to Audits & Inspections: Support internal self‑inspections and customer audits by preparing materials, organizing data, and documenting follow‑up actions under guidance from the quality team. Document & Process Support: Draft, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and other quality documentation to ensure clarity and compliance. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with operations, quality, safety, and regulatory teams to support quality initiatives, meetings, and projects related to Life Sciences and Healthcare logistics. Learn Regulatory & Industry Best Practices: Gain exposure to GXP regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices, and help the team stay informed of updates and support implementation where needed. Skills / Requirements Exceptional customer service skills. Detail oriented and strong follow‑up skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment. Pay Range: $19.39 – $25.85 per hour based on experience.
