Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A hospital pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist interested in a dynamic clinical setting. This contract role is based in Wisconsin and offers an engaging environment supporting patient care within a 250-bed hospital.
Location:
Wisconsin, within a hospital setting of approximately 250 beds
Schedule:
Variable shifts covering days and afternoons to provide comprehensive pharmacy support
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense medications and review prescriptions to ensure safety and efficacy
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy outcomes
Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation
Monitor inventory and assist in the development and implementation of pharmacy protocols
Provide counseling and education to patients as needed
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Valid Wisconsin pharmacist license or willingness to obtain an Act10 temporary license
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred to navigate clinical complexities effectively
Proficient in electronic health records and medication dispensing technology such as Cerner and Omnicell
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Ability to work flexible schedules including varied day and afternoon shifts
