The clinician will complete assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, documentation, and ongoing clinical support as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.Responsibilities:* Provide clinical assessments and mental health services to assigned patients* Complete treatment plans, progress notes, and required documentation* Provide crisis intervention, suicide risk assessments, and clinical support as needed* Participate in interdisciplinary communication with medical, mental health, and custody teams* Maintain professional boundaries and follow all facility policies and procedures* Support patients with serious mental illness, adjustment concerns, trauma, substance use history, and other behavioral health needsRequirements:* Active California LCSW or LMFT license* Minimum 12 months of recent experience preferred* BLS certification preferred or required by facility* Ability to work in a correctional/secure healthcare environment* Must be able to complete required onboarding, background clearance, and facility compliance requirements* Strong documentation, communication, and crisis intervention skillsPreferred Experience:* Correctional healthcare* Community mental health* Crisis intervention* Substance use or co-occurring disorders* Serious mental illness* Forensic or high-acuity behavioral health settingsCompensation:Pay ranges from $2,800–$3,400 per week based on license, experience, and assignment details.Care Career partners with healthcare facilities to connect qualified clinicians with meaningful contract opportunities.
